π March 2025 Opportunities π
Every month is do what we said we wanted to do, but this month especially!
Hello,
Happy new month! This is the first newsletter weβre managing to put out on the first of the month! We here is me, Immaculata, and Deborah, whoβs been assisting me for months now on formatting the list, drafting the descriptions, and filling out the infographics. We really wanted to be able to send this out on the first day of the month, and weβre happy to be doing just that.
We hope that this month will be full of doing what one says they want to do. Here are some opportunities you can use to prove yourself a reliable person, a person who really does go after their dreams. A four-leaf clover from us to you: π

If youβre reading this newsletter, your work most likely entails the exploration, preservation or reflection of our stories, cultures and ideas. If it does, then you are a culture worker in the sense that the Culture Pay Survey defines it.
The survey has hit a lull (less than 10 responses the past few days, and weβre only at 193 out of our target 3000). My team and I would love it if you could fill out or share this survey, which asks anonymously about your current and ideal earnings. We want to put a mirror to the cankerworm eating us up as an industry and as a societyβhow badly we value cultural workβand provide a resource with which we can all move towards fair pay.
The surveyβs data will be a powerful resource individuals, organisations, and the industry at large can use in small and big ways to bargain for better standards of living for all of us.
Intangible costs donβt disappear. Someone, somewhere, is paying for it somehow.
